A little about us.
A small Wisconsin program built around the dogs we love.
Pondside Kennels is a small, family-run program in Wisconsin. We have bred and shown Cardigan Welsh Corgis since 2011, and the breed has been part of our lives a lot longer than that.
Everything here happens at home, around the pond the kennel is named for. Our dogs are part of the family first. They sleep inside, they greet every visitor, and the puppies are raised right underfoot so they are used to people, noise, and everyday life before they ever leave.
We breed for the whole dog: sound health, a steady temperament, and the build and type the breed is known for. Our adults are health-tested and many carry championship and grand championship titles. We keep our litters limited so every puppy gets the time and attention it deserves.

Questions we hear often
- Do you health test your breeding dogs?
- Yes. Our breeding adults are health-tested for the conditions that matter in the breed before they are ever bred. We are happy to walk you through the results for a specific dog.
- Are the puppies raised in your home?
- They are. Puppies are whelped and raised in our home, handled every day, and well socialized to family life before they go home.
- How does your reservation process work?
- It starts with an application so we can get to know you. From there we talk about what you are looking for, and we match puppies to homes as a litter grows. A deposit holds your spot.
- Do your dogs have championship titles?
- Many do. We show our dogs and breed from titled, show-proven lines. You can see titles listed on each dog’s profile.
- Can we come meet the parents?
- Once we have connected through an application, we are glad to arrange a visit so you can meet our dogs in person.
- What does my puppy come with?
- Puppies go home up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and a vet check, with registration paperwork and everything you need to get started. We are here for questions long after go-home day.
